Spiritual Direction/Companioning

I am available to listen with you in spiritual direction/companioning, currently over teleconference, but soon in person in my workshop/office setting. I am trained and practiced in spiritual direction ministry, and have listened for God with people in congregations, while working, fishing, hunting, hiking, on farms, in gardens and forests, at food pantries, along city streets, and walking other ways.

In spiritual direction, I listen to and with you for the signs, movements and currents of the Spirit at work, especially in your life. I hope for direction to offer a grounding relationship, friendship in the Spirit, and the witness of another with recognized gifts to companion in this way. We can listen more keenly for how God has worked, is working, and desires now to work in you.

This may be in times of transition and change, whether dark, dry and confusing, or energetic and marked by clarity. We can settle down and watch how the tides and currents of life and Spirit shift: simplifying and integrating, vocational discernment and changes, life-cycle events, contemplative living, path-making, tending to stillness and what else helps you listen daily for God and to live in response.

A direction meeting is 50 minutes. You can schedule an initial meeting with me to explore questions, and try out a ‘mini’ session to get a feel for how I am and work with people in direction.

If you would want to reschedule, we can find a time. People often meet with a director every month to 6 weeks as a matter of rhythm. I ask a $60-100 fee for a session.
