Welcome to

the Boat and Table Workshop

The workshop provides a place to draw nearer God’s simple and grounding wisdom through work with your hands, prayer, study, art, spiritual accompaniment and hospitality.

But, I have moved, and so there is no workshop right now! I will look forward to inviting you in again in the future, in a new place.

I also invite you to visit

www.wild-indigo-guild.com

to learn more about our emerging ministry. We invite and accompany communities and individuals in a more contemplative practice of restoring creation day by day.

Until the day when I open up the workshop again, you can read my past jottings, see past offerings, and read about spiritual direction with me, and…

May you be drawn nearer the peace of God,

tending earth,

in compassion for others as yourself,

learning and working with your own hands.

“…And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands…”/ “καὶ φιλοτιμεῖσθαι ἡσυχάζειν καὶ πράσσειν τὰ ἴδια καὶ ἐργάζεσθαι ταῖς χερσὶν ὑμῶν,”

Evermore give us this bread!

whilst it treads out the grain.”

I invite you to donate to the new ministry “Wild Indigo Guild.” We work to build christian community around working with out hands and contemplative living that restores the earth, as well as with congregations to discover and renew their missional call to tend and restore the earth alongside their neighbors, earth care and people care in love of God.

Wild Indigo Guild will continue to develop threads and weavings of the Boat and Table. I hope to continue to keep the time and place open for workshop hospitality, and contemplative, practical ways ‘to build and to plant’.

Did I mention I will still keep dog treats on the workbench for canine visitors?

You can also donate by check, if you know how still!
